No matter how you refer to the Divine - God, Buddha, Mohammad, Creator, Mother Earth, Love, Christ Center, or Universal Energy - I tap into that energy source and channel that miracle of spirit life force through my body into yours, awakening your inner healer and uncovering your own healing abilities within yourself. At The Healing Nest, I simply facilitate that connection and show you a world you have not allowed yourself to tap into, to recharge your stagnant energy, and to replace it with vital energy to heal the body.

Shelly Winney
As a clairvoyant medium, I offer one perspective of the spirit world - a glimpse into the healing realm of possibility. I work with those who want to live a life free from pain and suffering.
I also assist others in finding a deeper connection to their soul-self and to live more fully and authentically along their path.
As an energy practitioner, I am blessed with the ability to tap into your energy and observe glimpses of your soul. By listening intently, I can see into your energetic self and recognize where blocks exist - blocks that no longer serve you. These blocks prevent you from moving forward in life and can be removed if the will is there.
My Spiritual Energy Practice Chose Me
It wasn’t in my plans to practice spiritual healing, rather the practice came to me. From the time I graduated from college, I worked a regular corporate job and intended to become a lawyer. But by the time I reached my mid-twenties, it became apparent that I needed to live a different life. As an adult, I learned I am a third- generational healer, as my gift for spiritual healing came to me from my grandparents. My grandparents Rev. Lewis E. and Gertrude Winney were spiritual healers as well as ministers for The Church of Universal Truth from the 1920s-1960s.
A Life of Service
It’s my life’s purpose to help others heal their hearts. Watching others grow and letting go of baggage that no longer serves them, helps individuals become more loving to themselves and others around them. Ultimately, love - unconditional and completely honest love - heals the broken heart and wounded soul. As a lightworker in this life, it’s my duty to help rid others from the shadows of despair and show them their true beauty of love and light.
Shelly's intuitive healing gifts came to her from her grandparents Rev. Lewis E. and Gertrude Winney who were both spiritual healers.

Shelly Winney holds a bachelor of arts degree from Eastern Michigan University in political science and women studies. She graduated from Blue Heron Academy (Grand Rapids, Michigan) in 2005 and is nationally certified through the American Medical Massage Association. Shelly is a gifted third-generation intuitive healer. She uses her intuitive skills along with her knowledge of the body to help create a healing experience affecting the mind, body, and spirit.
